Fashion retailer Reiss is to provide customers with iPads in-store as it seeks to align its physical and digital presence, it has been announced today.

With 100 stores worldwide and a strong online presence, it is hoped that this latest roll out will further strengthen sales.

Following a successful trial, the retailer is set to introduce the popular tablets across its network over the coming month, allowing customers to view its range online while shopping on the high street.

Digital technology is becoming increasingly prevalent within retail stores, with fashion company Aurora Fashion Group this week teaming up with online payment company PayPal, allowing shoppers the option of making store payments via its PayPal inStore app.

Dan Lumb, E-commerce Director at Reiss, explained the need to create synergy across its channels.

He told Retail Gazette: “We want to constantly offer the customer choice through every channel and our smaller outlets now have access to 100 per cent range online, maximising sales and digital brand awareness.”
