Fashion retailer Warehouse is to lose its Managing Director, Meg Lustman, whom brand owner Aurora Fashions has confirmed will step down in February.

Lustman joined Aurora Fashions, which also owns fashion retailers Coast and Oasis, in February 2004 as Chief Strategy Officer, and was appointed to her current role in November 2009.

Derek Lovelock, Executive Chairman of Aurora Fashions, commented: “Meg‘s leadership has helped restore Warehouse‘s position as one of the most unique brands on the high street.

“She has built a talented leadership team and has re-established the brand positioning and growth strategy as the brand embarks on its next exciting phase of development, including further expansion into Latin America.”

Warehouse currently operates across more than 450 stores and concessions in 21 countries worldwide and has global sales of £160 million and it is hoped that boosting its international portfolio in the coming year will further improve its position in the market.

Lovelock added: “I would like to thank Meg for the enormous contribution she has made to Warehouse and Aurora, particularly in the areas of international growth and e-commerce.

”I‘m delighted that Aurora will continue to benefit from her broad experience and strategic insight in her continuing role as a member of the Aurora and Karen Millen Boards.”
