Struggling value fashion brand Internacionale have put their intellectual property up for sale after what can only be described as a disastrous year.

The women‘s wear retailer, who have 89 stores and pride themselves on high quality goods at cheap prices, went into administration this year despite having initial plans to expand in the UK and overseas. They have now called in Metis Partners to co-ordinate the marketing of their intellectual property assets.

“Anyone with an interest in fashion will be fascinated by how Internacionale opened up access to up-to-the-minute style to a much wider public”, said Nat Baldwin of Metis Partners. “The company is still trending strongly on social media. We anticipate strong interest from fashion retail professionals and brand acquisition experts”.

Internacionale has been on the British high-street since the 1980s and held 150 stores at the height of their success. Despite providing an affordable fast-fashion option, the brand has been unable to capitalise on the UK‘s economic difficulties.

They have been accused of investing too much energy into expanding the company as opposed to focusing on current stores which already showed signs of a slump. An offer deadline has been set for Friday 8th August.
