Clothing retailer H&M’s first ever iPhone app was made available yesterday, ahead of the company launching a new transactional website in September.
Exclusively available through iTunes and Apple’s App Store, the product will allow users to get all the latest news from the business, check out the latest campaigns and see what is in store.
Whoever downloads the app, dubbed My H&M, will have the opportunity to find out exactly where their nearest H&M store is - wherever they are in the world.
A statement from the retailer added: “With further exciting features to be added, the iPhone app means you will feel like H&M is always nearby!”
Two of the UK’s major grocers, Sainsbury’s and Tesco, have launched apps in the last few weeks.
The Sainsbury’s App and its separate Nectar App will both feature store and Nectar reward locators, updates on personalised deals and online Nectar balance checks, while the former will also feature in-store promotions and news.
Meanwhile, Tesco’s new service will give mobile users the chance to order the grocer’s products via their handsets for the first time, providing full access to the supermarket group’s website.
