Fashion retailer Alexon Group, owner of Ann Harvey, Kaliko and Eastex, has today announced that Adrian Moulds will step down from its board of directors.

Moulds has been a non-executive director for the group since November 2008, and leaves the board with immediate effect.

David Adams will replace Moulds on the Alexon board after becoming a non-executive director himself in September of this year.

Richard Hanover, Chairman of Alexon Group, commented: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Adrian for his significant contribution to Alexon over the past few years, for which we are extremely grateful.

“We wish him all the very best for the future.”

Alexon Group issued a trading warning earlier this month, as heavy snowfall meant sales between November 23rd and December 18th were down 19.9 per cent year-on-year.

Jane McNally, Alexon Group CEO, was quick to assure Retail Gazette however, that sales drops were “100 per cent weather related” and that the dip in trading would not affect the retailer’s long-term plans.
