House of Fraser signs new online marketing deal

UK department store retail group House of Fraser has enlisted the services of European networking company Affiliate Window in a drive to increase the marketing performance of its online store.

Affiliate Window quickly established itself in 2000 as one of the UK’s initial pay per performance affiliate networks.

Since its launch the company has become one of the most prominent in its field working with over 900 clients including major retailers such as Dixons, Boots and Vodafone.

Commenting on the new partnership with House of Fraser, Director of Client Services for Affiliate Window Anthony Clements said: “House of Fraser is a well-established, highly regarded high-street brand and we are delighted to be on board as an affiliate network.”

He added: “Our aim will be to deliver results in the ethical and accountable way that has come to be the hallmark of Affiliate Window.”

The 160-year-old retailer House of Fraser boasts over 850 brands online, ranging from designer clothing to luxurious home essentials and intends for its virtual store to become its most productive.

Online sales grew by 120 per cent year-on-year during the recent Christmas trading period alone, and its online operation complements the existing five million sq ft of selling space that last year generated annual sales in excess of £1.25 billion.

House of Fraser’s partnership marks the second major retailer to come on board with Affiliate in recent months, with consumer electronics retailer Best Buy UK teaming up with the performance marketers in September last year.
