Retail Gazette parent company Quest Search & Selection has been shortlisted for the Best Retail Recruitment Agency in this year’s Recruiter magazine Awards for Excellence.
Formed in 1994, the company serves all areas of the retail industry and has been operating in the fast moving consumer goods sector for over a decade.
By introducing an international recruitment team, Quest has been able to expand its horizons outside of the UK in recent years, adding to the hard work of consultants in its London and Manchester offices.
The awards ceremony takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on May 11th, recognising the accomplishments of in-house recruiters, agencies, recruitment ad campaigns, job boards and other areas of the industry.
Commenting on making the shortlist, Quest Commercial Director Tom Irwin told Retail Gazette he is delighted the company has been nominated for the third consecutive year, and commended businesses that have operated at a high level in a tough economic climate.
“It is stating the obvious to say that the last two years or more have been an exceptionally tough time for the retail sector as a whole,” he explained.
“Any service-based business that has managed to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction during this time deserves recognition as the issues created by trading in a volatile market are many fold.
“Congratulations to all of the nominees and indeed all retail recruiters who have and still are working hard through this difficult period.”
Other nominees for the Best Retail Recruitment Agency are 360 Resourcing Solutions, Detail2Retail, Elite Associates Europe and Exsurgo.
