Home and DIY retail group Kingfisher has today announced the appointment of Andrew Livingston as new CEO of home & DIY retailer Screwfix.

Livingston, who has been with the retailer for four years, most recently operated as Commercial & e-Commerce Director and he has also previously operated at Director level at B&Q and Welwyn Garden Centres.

Livingston‘s appointment follows the promotion of Steve Willett to CEO of Group Development & Productivity, a role which will see him take charge of the development of Kingfisher‘s multichannel operations.

Willett will become Chairman of Screwfix and work with Livingston to build on the strength of Screwfix‘s digital model to further the group‘s online operations.

Last month, Screwfix reported a total sales rise of 10.3 per cent to £155 million thanks to the popularity of its ‘click, pay & collect‘ offer and the roll-out of new outlets and it is hoped that the latest senior management shuffle will further strengthen the overarching strategy for the group.

Ian Cheshire, Group CEO of Kingfisher plc, said: “I am very pleased to once again be announcing an internal promotion to CEO of a Kingfisher business.

“Andrew brings a wealth of experience to support the continued growth of Screwfix.”
