British luxury brand and shoe specialist L.K.Bennett have unveiled their latest campaign with British actress Rosamund Pike for their Autumn/Winter 2013 mainline and Black Ribbon collections.

Drawing on the creative theme of miniature 60‘s London, the campaign celebrates the brand‘s heritage with typical British wit. Renowned photographer Mariano Vivanco and stylist Cathy Kasterine have worked on the campaign.

The actress, who is currently starring in The World‘s End, spoke of the creative process that occurred saying that she sketched the Italian made bag in the LK Bennett studios that embodied “modernity, freedom and independence.”

“I think having a handbag is about feeling that you are holding a little bit of luxury,” she said.

She added: “There is an inside out detail, which is a lovely punctuation mark on the smoothness of the Nappa leather, bringing some of the chaos of the inside onto the outside.”

The L.K.Bennett design team worked for Pike six months to develop the capsule collection; the bags are named in honour of the actress and are called The Rosie, Rosamund and Rosa. The brightly coloured, vibrant tangerine and dark bitter chocolate brown bags draw on her love for classic British films, with the attitude of Julie Christie in the opening scene of ‘Darling‘ a particular inspiration.

The luxurious collection is available in three sizes with one statement design and boasts six colour choices; white, navy, green, orange, black and chocolate/black. Available in L.K.Bennett stores from 17th July 2013. Prices from £350.
