The event, hosted at cnit, La Défense, will bring together the global retail industry’s most influential business leaders and decision makers to challenge current thinking, unveil the latest innovations and shape the direction of the global retail industry.

Taking place from 7th – 9th October, World Retail Congress will bring together over 100 leading retailers and industry experts from more than 130 countries and features CEO speakers from Burberry, John Lewis Partnership and Walmart.

The three-day programme will focus on global growth markets as well as maintaining and developing fundamental principles of retailing in a demanding world. Issues including the importance of consumer trust and a market emphasis on luxury markets will also be discussed.

Philip Clarke, CEO, Tesco says the World Retail congress has become a date in every retailers calendar. “It’s a place where we can share thoughts and insights and talk about the challenges we all face,” he said.
