Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Cartier are among the nominees at the 12th annual Walpole Awards for Excellence, the not-for-profit organisation which represents over 175 British luxury brands.

The awards honour individuals and companies for their work in the luxury sector, both in Britain and around the world.

The winners of the 10 awards, whose past winners include Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Mulberry, will be announced at the Walpole Awards of Excellence on Monday 18th November 2013 at the Banqueting House, Whitehall.

Burberry is nominated for the Luxury Brand Online Award and jeweller Cartier is in the running for the Corporate Social Responsibility Award, which recognises sustainable sourcing and supplier and employee relationships.

The ceremony will be presented by acclaimed English adventurer, writer and broadcaster Ben Fogle, and will be attended by 500 luxury industry guests. This year‘s judges for the Walpole Awards include Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council; Michael Ward, MD of Harrods and Jonathan Heilbron, CEO & President of Thomas Pink.
