Lifestyle fashion brand Fat Face has opened a new regional flagship at the WestQuay shopping centre in Southampton.

Known for its ‘surfer style‘ clothing, Fat Face has moved to a smaller store to a larger 6,660 sq ft store.

The new store is double the size of its former unit, and stocks the retailers full range of clothing and accessories for men, women and children.

Simon Greene, Retail & Property Director at Fat Face said WestQuay had always been one of its strongest performing stores and added the firm has been working with Hammerson, who operate WestQuay, for some time to create an opportunity to upsize.

“Our new store is not only in a great location, it has allowed us to showcase the Fat Face brand to great affect.”

Sarah Mander, Assistant Director, Retail Leasing, at Hammerson, commented: “Fat Face‘s decision to upsize is the latest in a series of significant changes to WestQuay‘s retail offer in the last 12 months. Fat Face makes a key contribution to WestQuay‘s fashion line-up, but combined with the other new additions such as White Stuff, Superdry and Boux Avenue, we have a critical mass that is unmatched anywhere else in the catchment.”

Other brands to open at WestQuay include Superdry and Timberland.
