String of brands to open flagships at The Mall of Scandinavia


Superdry, Michael Kors and Starbucks are to open flagship stores in Stockholm shopping centre The Mall of Scandinavia.

Fashion brand Superdry will open an 8,611 sq ft store, while Michael Kors will open for the first time in Sweden. All three shops will open 26 ft tall high shop front.

Johan Rosenblom, Country Manager for Starbucks in Sweden said its store, which will cover 2,691 sq ft over two levels, would be “uniquely designed and different” to its other stores.

The brands join the ever-growing lineup of flagship stores at the mall including J.Lindeberg, L’Occitane, Mango and Hugo Boss. The Mall of Scandanavia will sprawl 1million sq ft and is located 7 minutes from the city centre.

“We are also seeing that many of those who choose to locate here are investing a little extra something to make it that bit special. Many brands are choosing to establish their first or largest stores here, new store-fits or designs, or to carry new collections,” said Lars-Åke Tollemark, Managing Director Nordic, Unibail-Rodamco.
