Feelunique has announced the launch of a new distribution centre that became fully operational on the 1st November by inviting key brand partners to tour the facility.

The increased capacity facility has been a direct response to company growth and a need to expand and advance the company‘s distribution capabilities.

Feelunique is currently Europe‘s largest online premium beauty retailer, shipping 4,000 – 6,000 orders daily worldwide, with the ability to ship up to 20,000 orders a day this Christmas and even greater volumes nest year. The new facillity will allow the e-tailer to process over 2m orders in 2016 with double the capacity of its previous warehouse. As Feelunique is now despatching from within the EU, it allows for seamless border free sales into all EU counries, removing unncessary delays at customs for customers.

“Our improved supply chain and delivery capability reflects our goal of continually improving our customer experience, “ commented Jim Buckle, COO at Feelunique. “The new Distribution Centre partnership with Dalepak will allow Feelunique to compete even more strongly both in the UK and internationally and will ensure that christmas shopping has never been easier.”

Soon click-and-collect will be offered to UK customers through Hermes ParcelShops in over 5,000 UK locations. On average, opening hours are 7am – 10pm. Hermes state that 92% of customers live within a ParcelShop.
