Tesco has appointed Tracy Clements as Managing Director for Convenience and CEO of One Stop.

Last week the big four grocer announced that One Stop CEO Tony Reed would be departing after 38 years with the business. Clements‘ new responsibilities will be to develop Tesco‘s convenience offers across the Metro, Express and One Stop convenience stores.

Clements brings to the role 14 years of experience with Tesco, having been “pivotal” in developing the Tesco Express format. She has taken on several executive positions including Operations Development Director and Support Office Director, before her current role as Customer Strategy and Insight Director.

“I‘m delighted to confirm that Tracey Clements has been appointed as the Managing Director for Convenience and CEO of One Stop,” said Tesco UK Retail Director Tony Hoggett. “Her wealth and breadth of experience will support the teams in developing this key part of our business as well as helping us serve our customers a little better every day.”
