Nicholas Tahir has been appointed as head of buying at River Island, leaving his position at Tesco‘s F&F.
The fashion retailer has continued their drive to increase their market share on the high street and grow their menswear section.

“I‘m very much looking forward to implementing the new global strategy and harnessing the true potential of River Island‘s menswear, cementing our position as designer of the high street,” Tahir stated.
Tahir comes from his role as head of global menswear at F&F, a position he has held since March 2014.
Prior to this he held senior buying positions at Primark, TK Maxx and Burton.
