Value fashion retailer Pep&Co plans to open 13 standalone stores before Christmas as part of an aggressive expansion plans to drive sales.

The menswear brand has earmarked new stores across Cardiff and Doncaster for Pep&Co concessions before Christmas as well as an outlet in Pontypridd, Wales, that is set to open September 16.

Pep&Co, which is backed by South African retail giant Steinhoff, has already opened four concessions in Guess How Much! Outlets.

According to Drapers, another 10 Pep&Co shops will open by Christmas, with several more planned in 2017.

Pep&Co opened 50 stores across the UK last year.
