Job Description

This iconic high street non-food retailer is currently looking for a Helpdesk Operative for its head office in Loughton, Essex. The purpose of this role is to operate the Maintenance Helpdesk, ensuring that all maintenance queries are promptly dealt with from start to finish. As Helpdesk Operative, your key responsibilities will be: * To respond promptly and professionally to all maintenance issues, in particular those that have a health and safety implication * To ensure that the safety and comfort of customers and store colleagues is a priority * To thoroughly process maintenance issues via phone, email and the property maintenance system, ensuring these are logged and prioritised for effective completion * To follow up all maintenance jobs, liaising with external contractors and other Helpdesk Operatives as appropriate * To maintain an efficient and effective monitoring system, to ensure that all issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
