An exciting opportunity has arisen with a mixed-goods, specialist retailer who are looking for an assistant manager for one of their key sites in Merseyside. With over 60 stores nationwide, this retailer has been established for over 70 years and is still looking to grow! As an Assistant Manger you will be expected to: * Assist in managing the operation of the store in line with company policies and procedures. * Drive sales and KPI targets through motivating your team. * Achieve customer service levels to ensure that the business strategy for exceeding customer expectations is consistently delivered. * Drive leadership and show inspirational qualities to engage your team to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have: * Assistant or supervisory experience, preferably from a blue chip retail or service environment. * The ability to be a hands-on Manager who can work to your own initiative. * A strong commercial understanding of working towards financial & non-financial KPIs. * Excellent ability to create top store standards while providing excellent customer service.
