Job Description

This global FMCG business seeks a Group Brand Manager in Poznan, Poland. This position is responsible for the development of assigned brands through the achievement of specific growth objectives. The position resides within the country marketing function and will assume responsibility for assigned key Brands within the category. · The Group Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy, and is expected to drive the growth of their assigned brands through excellent marketing execution. Responsibilities/accountabilities: * To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget· * To contribute to the development of category strategies· Contributing to the Companys Innovation by delivering a product development programme to generate consistent sales and profit growth· * To develop, recommend and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy and plans· * To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth. Develop these insights into achievable plans· * To lead the development of local copy strategy/ executions and/ or to ensure adaptation possible for other regions· * In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs/ opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands· * Day to day management and coaching of the Assistant Brand Manager(s) Key challenges: * Responding to the needs to innovate and build brand value for consumers and a global and local level.Professional qualifications· * 4-5 Years marketing experience, must be able to demonstrate outstanding marketing skills and potential, developed within an FMCG environment· * Educated to minimum bachelors degree level in a business related subject - from a recognised University Skills and competencies: * PowerPoint - Intermediate * Word - Intermediate * Excel - Intermediate * Outlook - Intermediate Personal profile: * Strong commercial awareness * Entrepreneurial * International outlook * Strong sense of urgency and achievement * Resilient and able to respond under pressure * Ability to influence * Strong analytical skills * Creativity * Financial skills, P&L understanding Fluent Polish and English
