Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team of a growing and evolving UK food business which has received a number of accolades for its products and instore execution over recent months. The company is currently looking for for a Commercial Strategy Manager to develop the commercial plan for its brands in relation to pack architecture, pricing and promotional strategy. Your key responsibilities will be to: * Use insights to build annual promotional guidelines and quarterly promotional plans to deliver short term financial objectives whilst delivering long term growth * Manage cost price increases to ensure margins are maintained and products remain competitive * Develop promotional, pricing and pack size strategies for NPD * Respond to evolving retailer strategies ensuring relationships are aligned to be mutually beneficial * Manage financial performance of promotional activity and evaluate * Work with marketing, category development and national accounts to drive revenue management strategies within the business. To be considered for the role of Commercial Strategy Manager you will have previous experience from an FMCG business within a commercial role such as marketing, category, sales or commercial finance.
