Job Description

This nationwide retail group within the UK seeks an E-POS Manager to join its lively team due to growth and redevelopment. The key role of E-POS manager is to help drive the business forward; to increase profitability and sales as well as guide department heads to increase the margin in their department. Key Responsibilities will include: Goods in: * Ensure the goods in department check off stock promptly and accurately. * Training of staff on correct procedure and equipment for checking off goods. Tills: * Ensure staff are fully trained. Furniture: * Set up all furniture BOMs as given to you by the furniture buyer, liaising with furniture department head to ensure all suites on shop floor are covered by a BOM * Delete discontinued BOMs Promotions: * Set up all promotions, multibuys, linksaves as asked for by buyers, manager and department heads. Rotationals: * Rotational stock counts are to be controlled by the Epos manager * Ensure department heads are fully involved in prep for stock take, the actual counting process and the investigation. Storage Areas: * Ensure that the storage areas are kept in good order by the department heads. Purchase Ordering: * Department heads must be fully trained on using piccos and dataloader, so they can raise their own POs and create PO numbers immediately * Train department heads to run sales/purchase reports, check the value of orders against this report, to be retained with delivery notes and purchase orders Key to being an effective E-POS Manager are strong organisational, management and communication skills and thorough involvement in all aspects of the business so if this sounds like an opportunity you could thrive in please do not hesitate to apply.
