Job Description

This leading FMCG Food company is looking for a General Manager and Business Development Managers for sub-Saharan Countries: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya. As a key member of the leadership team, you will have overall accountability for the business achieving its sales targets. Other duties will include: * Leading sales function across multiple channels. * Leading a large team across all multiple channels in Sub Saharan African Countries, the scope of this role will extend from setting the sales strategy through to ensuring operational execution in the field. * In addition to inspiring the team toward greater success, you will also promote and drive rapid growth across the sales function. To be the successful General Manager or Business Development Manager, you must be a proven sales leader and will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in delivering commercially sound sales growth (FMCG industry experience advantageous). You will have prior experience in managing large teams from national accounts through to state and field sales as well as the ability to switch between strategy and operational execution. An excellent relationship builder; you will be highly motivated and able to deliver on business growth.
