Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and lively office environment as a Supply Chain Analyst within a global online support business . You will work in partnership with the purchasing team within supply chain through supporting the analytical reporting that is needed for both teams as well as for supply chain metrics. There are also elements of transactional processing of purchase orders and vendor contract management. You will be responsible for researching and gathering data, assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support supply chain management as well as planning and operations by using analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance supply chain processes as well as being a lively character around the office. You will be required to: * Weekly liaison with Vendors to obtain and update the Outstanding Order Report and provide regular and accurate updates on Vendor delivery commitments to Inventory teams. * Weekly GL Account Coding review to improve the volume of incorrectly coded Purchase Orders with Accounts payable and General Accounts teams. * Weekly updates to the Supply Chain Dashboard and its metrics, providing suggestions on where we could improve. * Monthly Purchase Order Aging analysis of open Purchase Orders. * Monthly analysis and reporting of Vendor on time delivery reports. * Quarterly testing of our Supply Chain processes with our Internal Audit team, to ensure that we remain SOX compliant. * Support Supply Chain Team with ITT’s (Invitation to Tenders), RFP’s (Request for Pricing), RFQ’s (Request for Quote) and RFI’s (Request for Information). * Some management of Purchase Order placement using our financial system, Oracle. * Support in performing trend analysis of Rackspace energy usage and emissions (sustainability) * Some contract management in adding new vendors and renewals of vendors in our global contract system, Novatus. Experiences: * Strong self-starter and independent worker who’s driven by personal standards of excellence. * Strong knowledge and experience of working in Supply Chain and daily processes * Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. * Advanced excel skills * Strong abilities and understanding of computing tools such as databases, spreadsheets, and statistics applications * Working knowledge of process improvement and/or operational/ process excellence. * Knowledge of technical products sourced * Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand If you have the ability to facilitate change, ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups please apply.
