Job Description

They currently require a dynamic Procurement Manager / [Purchasing Manager](/searches/purchasing-jobs) to be based at head Office in Dubai. This leading business is at the beginning of implementing a new Procurement function, with the aim of creating structured and innovative procurement strategies which benefit all areas of the business. In this dynamic, diverse and challenging postion you'll play a vital role in developing and managing a variety of spend categories including IT, Marketing, Professional Services and Facilities Management across various regions around the world. As the Procurement Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to: * Report directly into the International Procurement Director to develop and execute procurement strategies * Deliver cost savings as part of the international procurement savings target across multiple spend categories * Successfully support multiple business units with full stakeholder engagement * Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships at senior and executive management levels * Manage third party supplier spend analysis to target strategic sourcing opportunities * Negotiate supplier commercial agreements from start to finish * Analyse the supply market to continuously update supply chain processes. * Identify and secure low cost country sourcing to support regional and global operations To be considered for the role you must be: * Experienced in a blue chip purchasing environment * Ideally experienced in managing a number of projects * Experienced in sourcing processes, data management, contract management and budget management * Experienced in commodity purchasing across a range of indirect spend categories with a strong understanding of procurement best practice * Experienced in developing & implementing formalised purchasing practices and guidelines across a large organisation - including development of tender/bidding processes and documentation and development of contract lifecycle management solutions * Strong on managing and engaging internal clients, functional heads and service owners to understand business requirements * Adept at preparing tenders, negotiating contracts and administering contract renewals and new contracts * Degree educated and ideally hold professional membership i.e. MCIPS This world leader takes pride in the career progression it offers.
