A Global FMCG company with a number of iconic brands are searching for a talented category professional to join their company as a category insights analyst. Working across the companies biggest categories, the main purpose of the position is to analyse EPOS data that will generate actionable insights to influence the category story for one of the UK’s largest retailers. Main Accountabilities: * Provide daily support to the Category teams. * Deliver ad hoc analysis requests to the retailer. * Support the retailer on category planning and range reviews. * Support the companies NPD objectives. * Support the delivery of insights, including presenting to key internal and external stakeholders. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous experience within the FMCG industry, preferably from a manufacturer. * Experience with either Nielsen/Kantar/IRI data sets. * Highly analytical mind set with the ability to derive actionable insights from raw EPOS data. * Proven experience with working to tight project deadlines. * A confident presenter with experience making presentations to key internal and external stakeholders.
