Job Description

A well established, trend-led and highly successful fashion retailer currently has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Manager to join their team. Ideally you will be either a Senior Garment Technologist or Technical Manager with a mix of both mens and ladieswear apparel experience. Ladieswear experience is essential to be considered. As the Technical Manager, you will have the following responsibilities: * Develop and implement an improved quality management process and system within your assigned product category * Utilise your technical knowledge and understanding of your product category and drive an improved direct sourcing process * Ensure that the brand offers products that are of high quality and good fitting * Liaise with the buying, design and merchandising team to achieve all business objectives * Keeping updated with the latest technologies and development within your product category The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications: * Degree level education in a retail/fashion related subject * Background and experience in multi product technical management within retail, ladies apparel experience is essential. A mix of both ladies and menswear would be advantageous. * Proven experience in project management- Excellent retail manufacturing/process knowledge * Strong leadership and people management skills * Exceptional communication skills This is a highly challenging position which in return assures a rewarding salary package.
