Job Description

One of the most well established and innovative Men’s Clothing Retailer is looking for a self motivated and driven Merchande Planner to help drive its expanding market. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Planner or Merchandiser to develop within a fast paced, dynamic environment. As Merchandise Planner your responsibilities will include: * Analysing sales trends across the market, presenting information to the Merchandise Director * Using your knowledge of sales trends and promotions to control stock through the warehouse to budgets, ensuring events and new store openings are accounted for * Working closely with the Merchandise and Finance Director to offer bold and creative solutions to drive the most efficient and profitable business. The ideal candidate will already be a well established Senior Planner or Merchandiser, with strong experience from a large, blue chip retailer and must: * Thrive in fast paced, high pressured environments * Have a very strong, analytical mind – this is an analytical role so a passion for number crunching is essential! * Be able to deliver fast, effective, creative results and enjoy working independently. An ability to “think outside the box” will give you an edge over the other applicants.
