My client is a highly successful fashion and clothing retailer, they currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Branch Merchandiser to join their dynamic head office team. This role is the perfect opportunity for a Allocator/Senior Allocator or experience MAA looking for the next step in their career. As Assistant Branch Merchandiser your main responsibilities will include: * Identifying key store sales trends and identifying risks and opportunities. * Driving store sales and ensuring correct replenishment is actioned to ensure optimum availability. * Reducing markdown across your department and planning exit strategy. * Weekly store/branch visits and regularly liaising with Branch and Area Managers. * Building new store stock packages and reviewing store gradings. * Constantly seeking to improve branch merchandising processes and procedures alongside senior members of the team. You may have the following skills and experience: * Experience working as an Allocator, Senior Allocator or MAA for a UK fashion or home textiles retailer. * A good knowledge and understanding of stock movement and store stock planning. * Be educated to degree level or equivalent. * Have excellent numerical and analytical skills. * Advanced/intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Be proactive and enthusiastic. * Full driving licence.
