Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to be basied in the Cardiff store of this well-known retailer. Your remit will be to increase brand awareness and continuation on a local and national level Marketing for a new store opening. The role will have a strong focus on events coordination and liaison with the marketing team on ongoing events. You will have responsibility for managing the in-store entertainment programme and coordinating events. You will be in contact with the Press & PR teams and will liaise with local business partners. Also you will be involved in Events Management and Project Management, administration & ad hoc back-office work. You will be indirectly managed through ongoing feedback on performance and objectives with the Retail Management team. This a fabulous, unique opportunity and to be successful you MUST have Marketing or Events experience and have worked in Retail or an FMCG environment where you have had contact with retailers. Personality counts for a lot with this reatiler so enthusiasm, passion, great communication skills, the ability to working to pace and create a buzz in-store are highly valued.
