Job Description

An experienced Regional Director is required by this Food & Fashion retailer. This high street food retailer is looking for a progressive Regional Director. The established brand has a number of different store concepts and is looking for an experienced Field Manager to drive the team, ensure store standards and commercial growth. You will be accountable for a turnover of approximately £50-60 million over a number of stores in the region. Within these stores you'll be responsible for achieving the highest level of profit through the service, compliance around standards and leadership of people. To be successful, you must be a highly experienced field-based operator with a proven track record in an Area or Field Management role with Supermarket experience predominantly and clothing & General Management experience at either a large store or field level. It is essential that you have exceptional people management skills and excellent financial and commercial acumen. You must be results orientated and be passionate and committed to achieving and sustaining outstanding customer service and forging links with the local community. The duties and responsibilities associated with this role centre around an overall accountability for the performance of the stores in your region. This translates into full P&L awareness, assessment and development of store practices in order to maximise sales potential, and a real focus on your colleagues and customers as well as being strategically focused regarding the commercial development of your area. This position with report into a board operations Director giving the autonomy & freedom toget decision made with less bureaucratic red tap.
