A leading retailer & wholesaler is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee one of the growing product divisions in their Grocery, Fresh & Promotional category. You will be responsible for the Delivery & management of agreed budgets.
You role will be providing support to the Category team for everything from stock level reviews, ad-hoc reporting, you'll know exactly what's selling and how to maximise profitability.
Your responsibilities include -
To ensure that the optimum amount of stock is available at the Warehouse & Distribution centre and that it is both efficient and effective.
- Place orders with Suppliers and arrange transport with buying teams.
- Update Contract Balances
- Monitor KPIs and produce the performance review document
- To ensure the correct cost and selling prices are maintained on the database
- To inform the supply chain controller of issues that need escalating at the earliest possible time
- Manage Waste Packaging Regulations
To be successful at this position you'll already be an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator, Stock Controller, Logistics or Assistant Merchandiser from a retailer, wholesaler or FMCG business. Not only this but a strong team player where you'll be numerate and analytical. You'll also have excellent Excel skills and will be a fantastic problem solver who can work with data to quickly identify solutions.
