Job Description

Sports Publications is a growing publishing company based in West Yorkshire. The company has two many monthly titles National Club Golfer & Lady Golfer and a thriving web business [www.nationalclubgolfer.com](http://www.nationalclubgolfer.com). Both publications are distributed to golf clubs throughout the UK Ireland and as such attract a targeted and extensive readership within the golf industry. Free to the reader, advertising underpins the success of our business and we are always looking for talented people to join our team across, display, classified and online sales. We would like to hear from bright, proactive people who are keen to work in an industry supporting a sport they love. We are a close knit team so your exposure to all parts of a publishing and on line business, will be much broader than in most sales positions. We won’t ask you to sell in a narrow vertical, one day you might be calling market leading manufacturers, the next selling listings on our website, and the next negotiating with a club secretary of an open venue! As you would expect we are all hugely passionate about our sport and brand so whilst sales experience would be a huge advantage, the key thing is that you are professional, motivated and share our love for the game Remuneration & working hours are both something we can be flexible on and we will work with you to come up with a solution that suits everyone. Many of our team work from home or have work that takes them out of the office, so we take the view that success isn’t judged simply by time at your desk We can also offer lots of golf related perks, from discounts at local courses to getting the first glimpse of the latest technology. If you are interested in the position please send your CV and a covering letter to the Editor, Dan Murphy at dan@sportspub.co.uk
