Job Description

An opportunity has arisen with a small high end brand that is rapidly growing to become a major player in the decorative home accessories market. They supply both branded and retail own label product and they are looking for a technical expert to join their team to manage quality, safety and compliance as the business continues to evolve.

As regulations constantly develop, customer requirements advance and volumes and the customer base continue to grow the right candidate will be experienced in managing multiple projects and have a good understanding of both the supplier and retail side of the industry.

To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will be experienced in:

  • home accessories or related sectors ideally included food contact and/or kids products
  • technical and ethical audits
  • working directly with Far East factories and suppliers
  • current regulations and testing requirements and know when to challenge
  • an understanding of retail standards
  • delivering the highest possible technical and quality standards

  • The ability to negotiate and influence
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong leadership skills
