Sim Scavazza has been named as M&Co’s new Buying Director this morning, replacing Louise Koser who left the company in June.
Koser departed M&Co to take up the newly created Managing Director position at homewares retailer HomeSense, sister company of TK Maxx.
Scavazza has over 20 years buying experience within retail, having previously been Brand Director at both the Arcadia group and ethical fashion retailer Adili.com.
Iain McGeoch, Chairman of M&Co, said: “I am delighted to announce that Sim Scavazza will be joining M&Co as Buying Director. I would like to take this opportunity in welcoming Sim to M&Co.
“I would also like to thank Louise Koser for her contribution to M&Co and wish her the very best in her appointment.”
The new Buying Director will begin working for the fashion retailer on a permanent basis from October.
M&Co doubled pre-tax profits during the last financial year to over £10 million, with the Scotland-based retailer increasing like-for-like sales by 8.3 per cent and reporting a 10.8 per cent growth in turnover.
