French based logistics company Norbert-Dentressangle (ND) has report a healthy rise in revenues in its nine-month review.
Total consolidated revenues increased by 4.1 per cent year-on-year to €2,113 million (£1,837 million), with transport revenues growing six per cent compared to 2009.
Logistics revenues performed less well, falling 0.4 per cent year-on-year to €918 million.
A statement from ND read: “In the first nine months of 2010, ND’s consolidated revenue totalled €2,113 million, up 4.1 per cent on a published basis and up 3.2 per cent at constant exchange rates, versus the prior-year period.
“The improvement, observed in all European countries where ND presently operates, was in line with the uptrend reported at June 20th 2010.”
ND, an international company which operates in 16 European countries including the UK, should complete the acquisition of US based Schneider Logistics International in the next few days.
