Value retailer Primark has increased the size of its store at the Lakeside Shopping Centre, just in time for the festive period.
An extension of the existing outlet, due to be unveiled on Friday December 3rd, will increase its size to 83,200 sq ft.
Goods including clothing, accessories, footwear and homeware will all be on offer at the re-launched stores, which will be the retailer’s fourth largest in the UK.
Kylie Minor, Lakeside Shopping Centre’s Acting Marketing Manager, said: “We’re really pleased that the new Primark extension will open just in time for Christmas.
“Our shoppers are dedicated fans of the Lakeside store and we are proud to be able to offer them one of the largest fashion ranges in the UK; full of colour, style and choice.”
Primark had an “exceptional year” in the 12 months to September 18th according to owner Associated British Foods, with a 26 per cent year-on-year increase in profit before tax.
Breege O’Donoghue, Director of Primark, said: “We are delighted to open the newly extended store in Lakeside Shopping Centre on Friday December 3rd.
“The Primark store will offer a wider range of quality commercial fashion at value for money prices for all the family.”
