Two retail property advisers have left their positions at global real estate services firm Jones Lang La Salle (JLL) and joined rivals Cushman & Wakefield (C&W).
Tony Edwards and Simon Wild will be joining C&W as partners in its Southern Retail agency team, it was confirmed today.
At JLL they worked in fairly similar roles in its Southern Retail agency team, where Edwards was head of department.
Justin Taylor, CEO of C&W’s UK Retail & Leisure agency team, said: “Both Tony and Simon have exemplary track records and will complement our existing team and further consolidate our position as the adviser of choice in the UK retail sector.”
Edwards and Wild have a long history of working together as they were both formerly employees at leading UK independent retail firm Churston Heard, which was bought by JLL in 2008.
C&W has been behind some of the most innovative retail property deals of recent months including the first standalone F&F store from Tesco and two new John Lewis at home stores.
