Merseyside-based shopping centre Liverpool One will add four new fashion stores to its retail offering in the coming months.
Calvin Klein, Hobbs, North Face and Vans will all open before the spring, helping maintain the high occupancy rate at the shopping hub.
Figures revealed last month by Liverpool One owner Grosvenor indicated that Liverpool One was 98 per cent let, with 51 per cent of tenants new to city.
Retail turnover in the third quarter of its 2010 financial year was up 18 per cent compared to the same period in 2009, while footfall had increased 5.8 per cent for the year-to-date.
Calvin Klein’s new store is its first in Liverpool and it joins fashion retailers such as Hugo Boss, Reiss, Ted Baker, Jaeger and Radley as residents at the shopping centre.
Meanwhile the new outlet for American sneaker company Vans will be its first in the north-west.
Chris Bliss, Estate Director for Liverpool One, said: “These four very different brands are a perfect addition to our already established fashion portfolio and showcase the variety and breadth of fashion brands that we are so proud of at Liverpool One.
“There are more exciting stores in the pipeline, as we endeavour to keep bringing inspiring brands to the city.”
Grosvenor recently predicted that more than 25 million consumers will have visited Liverpool One by the end of the current financial year.
