Retailer The Co-operative Pharmacy has today launched its first ever e-store, which will offer its products and service via an online platform.
Its health & beauty brands will be available with free deliver for orders of over £40 and the firm will send out regular email updates on deals and promotions to subscribers to the service.
Co-operativepharmacy.co.uk, part of The Co-operative Group, will also offer customers medical diagnoses and consultations through a partnership between itself and The-Clinic.com.
Mandeep Mudhar, Head of Business Development at The Co-operative Pharmacy said: “The health of customers and their families is extremely important to us and with our new online offering we will be giving our customers greater support in managing their own health.
“We are delighted to be able to extend our service and product offering to give people greater convenience and more choice.”
People will also be able to book appointments for biometric health testing, including checks on blood pressure, total cholesterol and blood glucose via the new website.
Other services include a A-Z health directory and an NHS Direct symptom checker ensuring that Co-op customers get the most thorough and reliable expert advice available on the web.
