Liz Earle launches online TV channel

British beauty brand and online retailer Liz Earle is today launching a new collection of videos on its website, which reveal details on the company, its products and consumer advice.

Liz Earle TV, going live online at midday BST, will feature company founder Liz Earle sharing tips on health & beauty, along with interviews, how-to-films, and gift ideas.

Developed by multichannel agency Adjust Your Set, the video will also feature a click-to-buy functionality, allowing customers to quickly add to their basket any item they see on the channel.

Hannah Webley-Smith, Global Brand Director at Liz Earle, commented: “Liz Earle TV affords us a huge opportunity to engage with our customers in a new and unique way; highlighting our company philosophy and history, plus the ‘quick and easy to use’ nature of our products.

“Education and engagement is and always has been at the heart of our brand and so we are really excited to be even more accessible 24 hours a day by sharing more of our brand directly with our customers via Liz Earle TV.”

This latest advancement in the Liz Earle offer comes only days after the company was voted Best Online Shop in a poll run by consumer magazine Which?

Liz has been up and running since 2002 but this the most ambitious adoption of video content that the site has ever attempted, with Adjust Your Set making every film fully interactive with social media through share buttons.

Chris Gorell Barnes, CEO of Adjust Your Set, said: “Video is the only way to shape and showcase a brand’s online message, it offers a cost effective and adaptive strategy across multiple channels of engagement.

“ In the case of Liz Earle we wanted to effectively convey the story of the brand via Liz herself and highlight the naturally active ingredients found in the products.

“Online video will provide the Liz Earle brand with increased awareness and enable the brand to continue to build on its loyal customer base.”
