Nine retailers have signed up to open stores in the new Jubilee Place shopping mall extension later this year, it has been announced.

Fashion retailers Banana Republic and Cos will join the centre as well as retailers The White Company, Oliver Bonas, Emmett Shirts, Le Pain Quotidien, Orlebar Brown, bareMinerals and Rituals.

Opening in November, the 44,000 sq ft extension will see an additional 25 new stores added to the existing retail offer at Canary Wharf.

Adam Brown of swimwear brand Orlebar Brown said: “We are very excited about the new Jubilee Place development at Canary Wharf and we‘re sure it will become a natural home for Orlebar Brown.

We are very happy to be part of it and roll on November when it opens.”

A new walkway to the mall, offering public access to the existing centre and offices, opened in March and the extension combining the Canary Wharf Group‘s 115,000 sq ft development with the new Canary Wharf Crossrail Station is one of the largest retail expansions currently taking place in Britain.

Camille Waxer, Chief Administrative Officer for Canary Wharf Group, said: “With the office population at Canary Wharf growing and the needs of our shoppers increasing we felt it was the right time to expand our retail offer in Jubilee Place.

“Banana Republic, Cos, The White Company and Orlebar Brown are all sought after brands that will enhance what is already a thriving shopping destination.

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome these stores to Canary Wharf and look forward to their openings in November.”
