Boots UK has launched a new digital app which tailors deals to shoppers based on their spending habits.
The app works in conjunction with the retailers advantage card and gives customers an alternative to quarterly paper coupons within its My Offers feature
Ruth Spencer, loyalty and multi–channel director, Boots UK commented, “We know that our customers love to receive personalised offers on the products they use the most, and 87 per cent of our customers use the coupons they receive in their quarterly mailings. However over a third of customers tell us they regularly forget to put paper coupons in their purse and can miss out on the best offers for them.
“This latest digital tool marks our ongoing commitment to enabling customers to access the best of Boots in one, simple place.”
Customers can also use the Boots App to find out more about products before they shop with the Barcode Scanner feature which allows them to scan any product barcode to get more information and customer ratings and reviews.
In the next five years, 55-60 per cent of all transactions are expected to be affected by the internet.
