House of Fraser has announced the appointment of Uday Kotla to the new role of Chief Information Officer, with effect from 20 April 2015.

Kotla will have responsibility for the continued development of technology led solutions across the department store chain and the integration of business needs with IT strategy and delivery, as House of Fraser continues to develop its multi-channel offer and pursue its global retail ambitions. Kotla will join the Executive Committee reporting to Nigel Oddy CEO together with a reporting line to Sanpower Group CIO, Peter Wang.

Kotla has over 20 years‘ experience in digital enterprise platforms and has led multiple transformation engagements for clients across businesses in retail, high tech and finance. Prior to joining House of Fraser, Kotla was Global Head of Technology Consulting at Infosys Digital. Uday managed enterprise architecture, IT strategy and digital initiatives for companies including Walmart, Adidas and Tesco and has also delivered substantial transformation programmes in prior roles for companies such as Wells Fargo, Visa and Charles Schwab.
