Alcohol retailers Majestic Wine and Vagabond Wines have signed a deal with Deliveroo to begin delivering booze to people’s homes across the UK.
The London-based food courier’s new alcohol delivery service also sees the involvement of craft brewer and bar owner BrewDog, craft brewer Honest Brew, as well as other independent businesses.
The new alcohol service will see Deliveroo‘s bike riders deliver drinks from eight Majestic Wine locations across London, and 20 BrewDog bars across the country, including Bristol, Cardiff and Manchester.
The expansion follows successful trials undertaken by Deliveroo in March, and comes less than two months after it signed a deal with casual dining giant Pizza Express.
