British retailer Joules has appointed Lysa Hardy as its new chief customer officer.

Starting in the role next Monday, Hardy will be responsible for taking overarching responsibility of the brand‘s marketing and ecommerce strategies.

Hardy previously held the role of chief operating officer at Holland & Barrett, where she was responsible for ecommerce, marketing, CRM and PR. She has also held senior roles with Orange, T-Mobile and RAC.

The new appointment comes as Joules restructures its marketing and ecommerce teams to support its future growth. 

“We‘re delighted to welcome Lysa to Joules. As a brand, we have a fantastic relationship with our customers and Lysa‘s expertise and experience will help us to further develop our thinking on increasing customer value across all channels,” chief executive Colin Porter said.

Joules‘ marketing director Ronny Helvey, who after seven years with the brand is scaling back and will become director of creative services, continuing to manage the internal design agency. 

Meanwhile, Ralph Percival continues in his role as ecommerce director, taking responsibility for ecommerce operations.
