The online revival of former retail giant BHS has already branched out into fashion, with apparel set to go on sale a month after the website launched.

From October 28, visitors to BHS International‘s new website will be able to purchase women, men and children‘s wear.

The fashion expansion comes as the online retailer announced its new Christmas ranges, which includes textiles including bed linen, cushions, throws, decorative accessories, lanterns and candle holders.

From October 14, a new range of kitchen and dining items will be available and a week later on October 21, another set of Christmas products – such as hampers, gifts and home fragrances – will go on sale.

BHS re-launched in the UK as an online-only retailer on September 29, a month after the last BHS department store rolled down its shutters for the final time due to a scandal with proprietors that saw the high street icon go bankrupt.

At the time of the re-launch and slight re-name, BHS International‘s new owners Al Mana Group said the online retailer would focus on selling homewares, with 500 items across lighting, bedroom and bathroom categories.

“We have had a great response to our relaunch in September and I‘m really excited to now be rolling out the first of our Christmas ranges as we promised,” BHS International managing director David Anderson said.

“As we continue roll-out new product ranges and ramp up our marketing activity, we are confident we can build further on our early success.”

Qatar-based firm Al Mana Group first acquired the BHS.com domain, international franchise rights and the BHS brand in June.
