Lee Wrangler is poised to open its first retail space in a UK outlet centre when it brings its famous denim range to London Designer Outlet in time for Christmas.

VF Corporation, the parent company of Lee and Wrangler, has signed a lease on a 1900sq ft store at the city‘s only fashion outlet centre located in Wembley Park.

The shop will offer its full range of Lee and Wrangler jeans, shirts and jackets renowned for being durable and authentic. 

“With excellent footfall, and the right customer profile for our brands, LDO is the perfect place to open our first UK outlet store,” VF Corporation UK country manager Damien Ladwa said.

“Because of the large student population nearby and people visiting the neighbouring SSE Arena and Wembley Stadium on event days, we‘re sure we‘ll trade really well.” 

LDO was ranked fifth best-performing outlet in Europe and the second-best in the UK in 2015. 

Its 265,000sq ft of retail and leisure space includes 70 outlet stores, restaurants and bars, a Cineworld complex and a large children’s play park. 

Since it opened in 2013, it has co consistently out-performed industry average trading figures while footfall has increased by almost one million extra guests each year, with this year estimated to come in at seven million.
