One of London stores left vacant by Banana Republic will be home to womenswear and accessories retailer & Other Stories.

Located at 132-133 Long Acre in St Martin’s Courtyard, Covent Garden, the three-storey 5300sq ft store is expected to open this spring. 

Banana Republic vacated the store in late 2016 after announced it October that it would close down all eight of its UK bricks-and-mortar operations due to falling profits.

Once it moves in and opens its doors, this will & Other Stories‘ seventh UK store, with shops already located on Regent and Oxford streets in central London, Chelsea‘s King‘s Road, the Bentall Centre in Kingston, Exchange Street in Manchester and one at Victoria Gate in Leeds.

“We have a thing for the UK and feel right at home here,” & Other Stories managing director Samuel Fernstrom said.

“Can’t wait for spring and the grand opening of our new beautiful spot at Covent Garden.”

& Other Stories is part of the Stockholm-based H&M Group.
