Mothercare’s James Graham appointed Outfit managing director

Mothercare retail operations director James Graham has been poached by Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia Group retail empire to be the new Outfit managing director.

According to Drapers, Graham will take the helm of the fascia from August 14.

Prior to joining Mothercare in March 2015, he was also retail operations director at Specsavers. He also held various roles with Asda and Tesco for nine and 12 years respectively.

Graham’s appointment comes a week after Arcadia  poached Burberry‘s chief merchandising officer Paul Price to be the new chief executive officer of its flagship Topshop/Topman chain.

That same week,  Baroness Karren Brady was revealed as the new chairman of Arcadia‘s parent company Taveta Investments.
